The Ibanez Montage lives up to it's name with it's
multiple sounds and modes of play. So what exactly makes
this guitar an award winner? ( The Ibanez Montage
was voted best in show at the 2008 NAAM show )
It's groundbreaking sound, design and technology. Let's
take a look at those!
The Ibanez Montage acoustic guitar sounds unlike any
acoustic guitar you have heard. First, when played on
it's own, it sounds beautiful as the notes ring out
but this is no ordinary acoustic guitar. It also has
an electric function that allows you to plug into an
amplifier. The sound is spectacular but once again it
has more to offer. When plugged in it has several modes
or unique sounds. The first is a clean electric guitar
and it sounds just like one! The next is an amplified
acoustic guitar, once again awesome! The third which
is got to heard to believed is a mix of the first two.
That's right the engineers have figured out how to have
the clean electric guitar and the amplified acoustic
guitar work at the same time and the sound is breathtaking.
